 Q & A:
Question: What
is Hydro-Plant?
Answer: Hydro-Plant
is organically crosslinked, superabsorbent copolymers that have been engineered to improve
the water-holding capacity of soil or other growing media.
The active ingredient is Potassium Polyacrylate/Polyacrylamide CoPolymer.
Question: Exactly
how does it work?
Answer: You
add Hydro-Plant to your soil, following the recommended rates. The plant roots will grow directly into or attach
themselves to the polymers. When you water
your plants, the polymers absorb hundreds of times their weight in liquid, creating
pockets of water that the plant can tap into as the soil begins to dry out. Your plants are healthier because they
have a consistent source of moisture. Youre
happier because youre conserving water and lots of time spent watering.
Question: What
are the benefits of using Hydro-Plant?
Answer:
You can insure a more consistent source of moisture to your plants.
You can reduce plant waterings up to 50% even in near-drought
conditions.
Reduce transplant shock
You can use Hydro-Plant as a delivery system for nutrients, as it
will easily absorb water-soluble fertilizers and gradually releases them to your plants.
Its a great value. You
dont have to continue to add Hydro-Plant. If
applied correctly, it will remain effective in the soil for up to 5 years.
Question: Can
I use Hydro-Plant indoors and outdoors?
Answer: Yes. Hydro-Plant works in soil, regardless of where it
is.
Question: Is
Hydro-Plant safe?
Answer: Yes. Hydro-Plant is non-toxic and environmentally safe. It will not contaminate plants, soil or ground
water. It has an essentially neutral pH and
breaks down into its component parts of ammonia, carbon dioxide
and water with no residual toxicity.
Question: Does
that mean that it is totally safe and can be used in my garden as well?
Answer: Yes. You will love the way your garden will produce
when moisture is consistently available.
Question: How
much water can I save using Hydro-Plant?
Answer: 25%
to 50%, depending on soil conditions.
Question: Why
is Hydro-Plant different from other polymers?
Answer: Hydro-Plant
is a potassium rather than sodium-based polymer. It
offers the highest available absorbency under soil pressure and the highest gel strength
and stability in the presence of fertilizers and soluble salts.
Question: How
much Hydro-Plant do I need to use?

Question: Is
more better?
Answer: No. If you use too much Hydro-Plant, the polymers,
once hydrated and fully expanded, could push the plant out of the soil. Be sure to follow the package rate chart when
applying.
Question: What
is the shelf life of Hydro-Plant?
Answer: If
stored in a dry area, away from contact with water or moisture, it will last indefinitely.
Question: What size does it come in and what are the prices for each
size?
